Ibex Hikes, earlier Adventures Unlimited, was born with us few passionate trekkers and environmentalists coming together to share our passion for the mountains with our friends and those with a love of nature. Over the last 10 years, thousands of people from different walks of life have chosen to walk with us into the wilderness to experience life anew. Our team of well-trained, qualified and equipped members has helped them make these experiences memorable and there are those who have fallen under the charm of the mountains for life.
All round the year, we organize a number of treks, both in the Himalayas and the Sahyadris of varying grades suitable for different age-groups. We have extended our sphere to include activities allied to trekking to give our guests a more fulfilling understanding and experience of nature.
In any activity we take up, utmost importance is given to the safety of the participants and their needs. But in doing so, we also keep in mind that our idea is to promote alternative, sensitive, eco-tourism. Thus, we ensure none of our activities cause any harm to the environment.
We all have different reasons for exploring the mountains and wilderness. Our team of trekkers and instructors understand your approach and help you plan a trek that would suit you. This year again, we have planned a number of treks and activities and we urge you to take a trip with us to the lush green hills of the Sahyadris or the snowy peaks of the Himalaya. Aniruddha Jadhav – Founder and Partner
 | An environmentalist by passion, an Interior Designer by profession. Aniruddha has led so many successful treks to the Himalayas since 1999. Trekking from a young age, he completed his Basic Course in Mountaineering from HMI in 1997. He is a technically sound and highly experienced member of the team, an able leader with an understanding and kind demeanor. He has been actively involved in rock climbing, mountain biking, horse riding and a paragliding and paramotoring pilot too. He has been a part of two cycling expeditions – the challenging Manali – Leh – Khardungla Expedition and a coastal one from Panjim to Mumbai and was also a team member of the first civilian runner up of Enduro3 (Professional Category) which is considered to be the toughest cycling and trekking endurance race in India. Being a wildlife enthusiast, he has worked as a part of the “National Bio diversity Recording and Monitoring Project” for 3 years to discover the biological diversity of Trimbakeshwar and Torangan (North part of western ghats, India) among other activities with the Forest Department and NGOs. He is also a certified nature educator. |
Vasudha Patil – Founder and Partner
 | Vasudha is an influential and enthusiastic leader, ably leading treks in the Himalayas since 1999. She has an ardent love for and knowledge of nature and is experienced in the mountains. She was a part of the Panjim – Mumbai cycling expedition and knows horse-riding. She was also a team member of the first runner up in the challenging Enduro3 (Professional Category) which is considered to be the toughest cycling and trekking endurance race in India. Her involvement with a number of NGO’s and environmental drives is significant and she was the driving force behind “Visarjeet Ganpati Daan kara mohim” in Nashik. |
Vikram Phalke – Advisor
 | Vikram would be one of the first people to organize treks in the Himalaya for the Nasikites. Himself a trekker from a young age, he has been sharing this love for trekking and other adventure activities with people for more than 20 years. He has conducted several paragliding sessions to train young enthusiasts and has ventured in the North as a part of a number of Himalayan biking expeditions. He is also an ardent nature activist. |
